It's Courtney. Chris is such a lazy crap.

how r u all? i am excited to say that winter break is coming. it's freezing. i like the weather though. canada is boring. there is freezing weather and snow. not that exciting to me. tdi is over, so i'm into 6teen. i am a teenager watching 6teen. pretty ironic.

this blog post won't be long. just an update that i might discontinue my camp. i'm not interested in it anymore. i'm planning to make a new youtube channel. i hope it's worth it, but i'm guessing not. anyways, if i do discontinue the whole thing then i'll probably just be writing video journals and all that crap. also, i'd like to get challenge ideas..and NOT ones that are stupid like the comments i've been getting the past weeks.

i apologize that i haven't logged on for a while. lol. i'm just really busy.

not many of you are planning to read this whole update. chris's update will be that he is making a quick christmas video like his halloween one and he'd like you to keep commenting and rating and sending to friends so he can become famous on youtube, too. since canadianqt336 and saradomin815 are suspended, he'd like to fill in and be the faithful tdi lover. hopefully he doesn't get suspended.

update on my life: i am writing a novel online. i want to post it on this blog, maybe the first chapter or so, but yeah. also i want to redecorate my channel. i've had the same layout for a long time now, but i really like the bg. since they are makin us upload our bgs, i won't be able to have an animated one, so i want an animated one.

THIS IS GETTING LONG. I SHOULD STOP.

BAAACCCCKKKKK! WHAT'S UP?!!

WHAT'S UP my TDI lovers? Happen to catch the finale? Woo! Go Owen! That would be a pretty sick party after the show. Thanksgiving break is well over and Winter Break is coming! I spent Thanksgiving in New Jersey. It ROCKED and I had an awesome time. It's pretty cold in the east, Winter still rocks though, because I love wearing winter clothes. I mean coats and jackets are my favorites, but the super warm and thick coats are just like blankets to me. I have pretty comfortable coats. Also, I'd like to say a big hi to everyone back in my camp, I REALLY want to make another challenge. CAN YOU GUYS LEAVE ME COMMENTS ON MY YOUTUBE PAGE? I know not very many people stop by this blog, but if you happen to, LEAVE ME A COMMENT OR QUESTION! =]

I am also quite pissed at YouTube. They took away bulletins..which sucks! YouTube used to be so much fun! NOW I HATE IT! Who the heck is the reason for all this? ALSO I'd like to make another channel because YouTube won't let me erase my current things on there, but whatevers! I'd love to get to talk to more people out there so leave me a message or comment.

videos+fun

videos are fun. i like making videos. this is Chris speaking, with a little speech on how i make videos, if anyone out there was wondering at all..

STEP 1: Get an idea
i pick out a topic, couples, trailer, or music video...or anything else for that matter. i figure out which clips are good, and find some easy to download clips.

STEP 2: Get clips
i find some YouTube videos I can download and use a video converter. i wait for an hour and a half if it is a long video clip, (like an entire episode) or wait fourty minutes for a short video or some music. yeah, i wait that long just for one or two things. sigh.

STEP 3: Get music
music is good, so i need so search up online for some good music that matches my theme. i go online to ask.com or yahoo!answers. this process takes a couple of minutes, depends on the topic, really.

STEP 4: Go to onetruemedia
onetruemedia is a good video creator for me, and i upload my files to a new montage. this takes around ten to twenty minutes, depending on how many video i upload at a time and how big they are. sometimes thirty minutes. i work pretty slow during these times.

STEP 5: Take a break
these brakes are around thirty to fourty minutes long. sometimes longer. i'm lazy! =]

STEP 6: Figure out effects
onetruemedia has good effects, so i figure out which effect for each clip. i cut the clips to my liking and cut each clip so it makes sense. i preview the montage every twenty minutes or so, making sure the music looks good with it, as well as the effects.

STEP 7: Finish
after trimming and clipping the clips, making sure it doesn't go over the length of the song, and adding the finishing touches like text and stuff, i can finally finish and post it online.

STEP 8: Post
i post it to youtube, add stuff like description and links, title and sometimes annontiations (is that how you spell it?) and that is the complete finishing touch of it all..no glitches, no nothing.

Sometimes this process takes more than one day, depending on how much I want the characters to mouth the words or look like they are saying whatever the music is saying. This is a funny part of video creating, and sometimes hard.

video making is a very fun and sometimes difficult process. i have traditions, like the subscribers videos and the new tradition, holiday videos, but i manage to kill boredom by doing what i do. hopefully you guys enjoy my videos and tell others about it. i'd appreciate that!

other than that, life's good, and i am only writing this because i am bored and pessimistic today. strange.

ah...videos.

Why, hello!
Tis' Chris writing here. Well, this IS Chris and Courtney's shared blog. Find out what's going on with our lives! We like keeping connected with our YouTube friends. So this blog was written just for you. Ehem..thank us? (Distant noise with someone yelling out, 'thank you!') Alright. I am a Brit. Yes. And, also, I am a horrible conversationalist. I don't like talking that much, unless complete and absolute boredom has gripped me. I am a writer, emo-ish guy, but I wouldn't consider myself whining about my life, or cutting myself, for that matter. I like writing. That's all. My other half, Courtney, takes everything so practically. A neat freak, I must say. Why do you think she has such an organized camp? Well, of course, we are not retards, but we both want to reach out to people and play around. So we chose TDI as a show to focus on, Courtney starting a camp, me creating videos (thanks to those who watched Total Drama Island-When a Stranger Calls...10,000+ views!) You may say I am over obsessed with subscribers. Nah, not so much. Maybe a tad, itsy, winsy bit. But I do love people enjoying my work. Subscribers really DO keep me going. I mean if you work your butt off creating a video, and you then see that nobody has viewed or enjoyed it, you give up. But thanks to your fabulous support, I will keep making videos for you guys. Thank you all! I hope that is enough information to suit you. Anymore questions? Just ask me. Don't be afraid.

this is courtney. actually..chris had that upper paragraph saved into a draft and i was currently still typing mine. for once i am "behind" on one thing. i may be considered a nerd, but i am a beautiful one! lol? no. yes? oh come on people. anyways, having a british friend is fun, when you are stuck with no accent on the other side of the page. chris and i have been friends ever since he moved here. he IS two years older, but that didn't stop us from being friends. we were neighbors..we met..and he met my other hilarious friends..and our teenage life as friends basically began. no, we are not a couple if you were wondering! it would be extremely awkward as well. but this blog was created for YOU. please read it! PLEASE! give us your comments on our youtube page of what you think of this blog.
